| During the NGCOA Annual Conference in San Antonio, it was announced that Atkinson Resort and Country Clubhas been named the 2015 National Golf Course of the Year by the NGCOA. Atkinson Resort and Country Club was up against some stiff competition from 3 other clubs located in California, Georgia, and Michigan. These courses were judged on four key areas includingExceptional Quality of the Course, Exceptional Quality of Ownership and Management, Outstanding Contribution to the Local Community, and Significant Contributions to the Game. |  | |

| Atkinson Resort and CountryClub is an 18 hole championship course open to the public. Additionally, the facility has a 9 hole Par 3 course and the state of the art Willowcreek Golf Academy.Operated as part of the Lewis Group of Companies, Atkinson Resort is now actively managed by Christine Lewis Morse (President and Owner). Christine is a third generation to manage the facility. TheWillowcreek Golf Academyprovides year round instruction and practice- ideal conditions for growing the game. |  | |
| Previously, Atkinson Resort and Country Club was recognized for its accomplishments at the Annual Chapter Meeting in November of 2014. Peter Doherty, Director of Golf, along with other key staff members were on-hand to accept the award.
