Could you imagine???

On March 7th, the unthinkable happened at Province Lake Golf Club.  On the night of a howling Nor'Eastern (one in a series that hit the area) - fire broke out in their 100 year old clubhouse, restaurant, and Pro Shop.   Weather conditions made it impossible for fire fighters to save the building.  And all of this was happening as the club was preparing to celebrate their 100th year of operation!!!!  Can you imagine this happening at your facility?

In a show of support and in an effort to keep that 100th Anniversary Celebration alive, the NEGCOA has chosen to hold our 17th Annual Golf Outing at Province Lake Golf Club on Tuesday, June 5th.  No, there won't be a clubhouse.  And the Pro Shop is now a micro Pro Shop (set up in a small existing structure).  But the the Porter Family and their fantastic staff are rebuilding and determined to see this special year remain a truly special year.

The outpouring from their golfing and local community has been tremendous. But we as golf course owners, operators, golf industry professionals need to step up and show this club our support.   The Golf Industry prides itself on all the "Good Work" we do for those in need and now we have a chance to support one of our own.  

Join us for a day of support, golf, and networking on June 5th at Province Lake Golf Club in Parsonsfield, ME (along the ME/NH border).  Come as a single, twosome, threesome, or foursome.  Bring your staff, your family, members from your club, or business colleagues.  Hey, its National Women's Golf Day that day -- bring a group of women to play!!!

The day will feature:

10:30 Check-in, Range, and Round-tables under the Tent
11:30  Buffet networking luncheon
12:30 Shotgun start -- Bramble format
  5:00 Cocktail reception, hearty hors d'oeuvres, awards and raffle
  6:30 Time to get back on the road home

Ways to participate include:

Come and play in the event
Be a sponsor of the event (vendors)
Be a non-playing supporter of the event
Not a golfer -- join us for lunch or post-play festivities
