NEGCOA's FootGolf Workshop

American FootGolf is gaining traction all over the US.  Currently it is being played in 48 states and the District of Columbia at over 440 courses.   There is so much interest that they are holding the National Championship in Chicago on October 3rd.  Here in New England it exists in 5 of our 6 states (it has yet to hit RI). Is your club missing out on a piece of this action?

Are you curious to see if this fast growing sport could work at your facility?  Did you know that NEGCOA courses get a discount when signing on with AFGL?  According to Roberto Balestrini - when promoted correctly operators can recoup their investment within 30 days. Do you have a youth soccer program in your area that you could work with in bringing new juniors onto your property?

The NEGCOA will be hosting a FootGolf education workshop at Sagamore Hampton Golf Club on Thursday, October 8th.  Sagamore Hampton was the first club in New England to bring FootGolf to their facility. Richard Luff and his staff will share their experience-- what worked, why it worked, and how they are doing. We will also hear from Roberto and Laura Balestrini -- founders of AFGL.   You will be invited to play a round of FootGolf, or even a few holes, or simply walk the course and see it being played.  Whatever works for you.   A light lunch will also be served as part of this session.

Who should attend?  Owners, operators, course superintendents, club managers, activity directors, golf professionals, summer camp program directors.  If your club has a junior summer program-- this would be a great activity to add during those summer months when your program is in session.

NEGCOA members and their staff have complimentary access to this program.  The fee for non-members is $20 per person (payable the day of the event). We ask that all those wishing to attend pre-register by October 5th.
